Feast of St. Blaise, Bishop and Martyr Blessing of throats will be offered to the congregation this year as a safer alternative to individual blessings (the challenge is the sanitizing of candles after they have touched each person). This year, the blessing will be given to all gathered, with the Priest extending his hands over the congregation while reciting the prayer of blessing.
