Ecclesiastical Latin classes will be offered this spring via live online, interactive sessions. The Latin of the 1962 Roman Missal will be taught over ten weeks at two levels: Beginner Level 1 and Level 2. Dr. Charles Blume, parishioner of Most Precious Blood of Jesus Parish, in Pittsburgh, will teach these classes starting the week of January 18, in one session per week, with specific days and times to be determined. To sign up and for more information, including the course fee, please contact Dr. Blume at cblume1888@gmail.com.
In addition, two live online Latin classes (non-credit) will be offered remotely in the spring through the Community College of Allegheny County. Dr. Blume will also teach these distance classes (levels 1 & 2). The sessions will meet on Mondays (level 2) and Tuesdays (level 1), 6:30 – 9:30 PM, in an 8-week term beginning the week of February 22.
