The date was December 30, 2011. After a funeral Mass had been celebrated and everyone was assembled in the Parish Hall, a fire erupted in the work sacristy. While the fire was extinguished (Thanks be to God), the resulting smoke caused 100’s of thousands of dollars in damages to the recently restored interior. On the 7th Anniversary of this sad day, the statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary, which formerly adorned the side Altar on the Gospel side, will take up a place of honor once again in our Sanctuary. The baking "elves" have been very busy preparing for the Bake Sale & will need rolls bagged on Tues., Dec. 11, & Wed., Dec. 12, at 6:00 p.m. in the lower level of the Parish Center. Gentlemen: We also need “muscles” to take the trays to the upper level. In addition, we need “extra hands” on Fri., Dec. 14, (please call for a time) to put together cookie platters & trays, etc. This Bake Sale is a major fundraiser for us, & we would greatly appreciate all the help we can get. Remember, we all work together for *Our Church.* Thank you.
