Reminder -- Spring is now officially upon us, so please take the time to “spruce” up the Cemetery, by clearing away all old decorations and flowers. If you don’t, we will... As you know, the Cemetery employs a mowing maintenance company to take care of the grass, & it is very difficult for the men to mow & trim, especially around things that aren’t allowed... To Fr. Carlos, Fr. Ananias, and the hundreds who attended the Sacred Relics of the Saints event on March 11, 2018 -- thank you! It was an inspiring and illuminating experience. Thank you, too, to the numerous priests who were there to offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation. A selection of event photos will soon be available on our website. In addition, a photo album of the Church presentation and of the veneration of the relics will be uploaded soon to our Parish's Facebook page, < queenofpeacechurchpatton >.
The Catholic Ministries Drive, "Making Christ a Home in your Heart,” launches this Sunday throughout the diocese. This drive focuses on a select group of ministries with emphasis on the poor, families, youth, seminarians & leadership development of clergy & laity. Please reflect on Bishop Mark’s invitation when it arrives in the mail, & return your pledge card in next weekend’s offertory. All contributions received beyond our Parish goal of $20,280 will be returned back to our Parish. Thank you for supporting these vital ministries with sacrificial gifts of prayer. --Parish Bulletin, March 11, 2018
