* Blessed are Mothers, who did without for us, they will be rewarded. * Blessed are Mothers, who lost sleep when we were sick, they will find rest. * Blessed are Mothers, who taught us how to pray, they will share God’s kingdom. * Blessed are Mothers, who comforted us, they shall be comforted. * Blessed are Mothers, who taught us right from wrong, they will know justice. * Blessed are Mothers, who shared with us the meaning of peace, they shall know peace. * Blessed are Mothers, who taught us the importance of loving God and each other, they shall see God. May 12/13 - On Mother’s Day weekend, you will have the opportunity to support Birthright’s pro-life work. -- At each Mass, we will have beautiful carnations to share with you in exchange for a $1 donation. -- Remember, we are not “selling” flowers; they are merely a symbol of our celebration of life! -- Thank you for making a donation that reflects your own commitment to protecting the sanctity of life.
Held in conjunction with the “Patton Yard Sale” on Sat., June 2, beginning at 9 a.m., Queen of Peace will hold its Garage & Bake Sale. -- Please check your attic for any clean, working usable "treasures" that you would like to donate. **We will not accept clothing, shoes, tires, encyclopedias, or TVs.** -- You may bring your "treasures" to the upper level of the Parish Center from Mon., May 28 through Thurs., May 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. (The door will be locked after 5 p.m.) Nothing will be accepted before Mon., May 28. -- Also, help is needed for the sale. This fundraiser, which is 100% profit, needs volunteers for sorting, pricing, preparing for the sale, etc. If you can give a little of your time, please call the Parish Office (814.674.8983). Thank you.
