Night Prayer as Advent Piety – Each Sunday evening at 7 p.m., during the Advent Season (November 28, December 5, 12, & 19) the last “hour” of the Divine Office will be prayed here at Queen of Peace Church. Night Prayer consists of a hymn, 3 Psalms, a brief reading from Scripture, the Nunc Dimittis of Simeon, & a concluding prayer. The 2021 Christmas Ornament will arrive shortly. This year’s ornament will feature: “The Calming of the Storm & The Commissioning,” 2 more of our beautiful stained-glass windows. "A Christmas Carol – A Live Radio Play" performed by the Bedford County Players will be presented on Fridays at 7 p.m., on Dec. 3 & 10; & Saturdays at 3 & 7:30 p.m., on Dec. 4 & 11, at the Bedford Church of the Brethren, 310 Donahue Road in Bedford. --- This show features one of our own, Jonathan Kirk, who stars as Ebenezer Scrooge’s nephew Fred.
