CCD News – Welcome Back - Sunday, September 11 Classes will be held from 9:30 – 10:45 a.m. in the lower level of the Queen of Peace Parish Center. Drop off children at the lower level and pick up from the upper level. At least one parent/guardian must attend to fill out paperwork. The Queen of Peace Annual Basket Auction will be held on Sunday, Oct. 9, with the social and drawings beginning at 2 p.m. --- This event is one of our largest fund raisers & has always been very well attended. We are in need of baskets. Last year, we had a record 210+ baskets, to date now we only have 20...Please help out! It’s early, I know...but now’s the time to put your head’s together & work on a family basket, or think up a really neat idea and turn it into a basket...the ideas are endless. The Patton Fire Company #1 is sponsoring a Car Show/Cruise on Sunday, September 4, from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Patton Park. --- There will be cars; trucks; bikes with trophies and dash plaques with a judged event. There will also be an axe throwing competition; food; games; music; vendors; a corn hole tournament with 10 teams or more. The pool opens at Noon.
