Moleben to the Mother of God for Ukraine will be prayed on Sunday, October 2, at 2 p.m., at the Protection of the Mother of God Ukrainian Catholic Church, 560 Cambria Ave, in Revloc. --- The Vox Nova Choir of Mt. Aloysius College will be leading the responses. There will be a basket for donations to help the people of Ukraine. A Spaghetti Dinner & Basket Auction will be held at the Patton Firehall on Sunday, September 25, Noon to 4 p.m., to benefit one of our own, Kim C., in her on-going recovery from COVID. She was diagnosed with COVID on October 23, 2021, then intubated and sedated until January 2022. She was transferred to an acute care rehab until she was strong enough to start her rehab at Encompass Health in February. Spaghetti Dinner & Basket Auction to benefit Craig M. on Sat., Oct. 1, from 1-7 p.m., at St. Bernard Church in Hastings. Craig is a 20-year Navy Veteran married to Becky M. & they have a son, Judson. Craig and Becky volunteer their time at St. Bernard Church, the St. Bernard Food Pantry & at the Park in LaJose. --- Craig was diagnosed with liver and esophogeal cancer.
