oday is Pentecost – As we celebrate Pentecost, Jesus says to His disciples, “Peace be with you. As the Father has sent Me, so I send you.” This month, through your generous donations, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul brought the love and care of Jesus to the poor by assisting families in providing them with food, and helping with their utility and rent bills. Due to the revamping of the Parish Center parking lot (upper level); there is now a new entrance to this parking area. *Please be aware that entering will now be at the TOP OF THE PARKING LOT. * This new design was desperately needed to help curb the serious erosion problem which existed (if you parked there, you certainly were aware of this.) The cost of this project, $27,300, was paid in full by the Special Activities Committee. We THANK THEM for their continued support of Queen of Peace Church and facilities. Thanks to everyone who helps with their fundraising and ask that you continue to support their charitable efforts. --Parish Bulletin, May 14, 2023.
