Christ the King Church, Houtzdale, is announcing their 2nd Annual Patriot Day Festival on Sunday, September 10, from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. There will be various booths outside as well as more fun inside, such as a kid’s booth, dime pitch, beer tent (21+), cake wheel, basket raffle, bingo, small games of chance, and a cornhole tournament (registration begins at 11 a.m.). The Patton Fire Company #1 is sponsoring a Car Show – Cruise on Sunday, September 3, from 10 a.m. -5 p.m. at the Patton Park. There will be cars; trucks; and bikes. Trophies and dash plaques awarded with a judged event. There will be food; games; music; vendors; a corn hole tournament with 10 teams or more. The pool opens at Noon.
