Basket Auction / Take-Out Pasta Dinner – Sunday, February 2, beginning at 11 a.m. at the Patton American Legion. We are asking the community to come together and help Travis Helbig, after a devastating fire and loss of his garage on Saturday, January 4. There will be a take-out Pasta Dinner w/ salad, roll and dessert for $10 and a basket auction at the Patton American Legion Post 614 starting at 11 a.m – thru the afternoon with baskets being chanced off at 5 p.m., on Sunday, February 2. Bishop Carroll High School is sponsoring a Trivia Night on Saturday, February 15. Theology on Tap continues at the Boulevard Grill (165 Southmont Blvd., Johnstown) at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, January 29, with Fr. Mark Begley speaking on Prayer and Intimacy with Christ. Along with the Altoona Group, we are hosting a young adult retreat on Saturday, March 8, from 9 a.m.-6 p.m., at Saint Francis University (Immaculate Conception Chapel), featured speaker is Bob Sutton. The Mass book is completely filled for this year [2025]. Further Masses, out of necessity, will be sent to the Monks at St. Vincent Archabbey. The 2026 book has *not* arrived yet. As a reminder, you are permitted 5 Masses/ per year, 2 weekends and 3 weekdays. Also, you are permitted 3 dates reserved for the Sanctuary Lamp(s).

CCD NEWS – Sunday, January 26 (*New Date*), 9:30:10:45 a.m. - Protecting God’s Children – *All Parents Must Sign a Form* indicating their preference regarding their child’s participation in this program. --- If you choose *not* to have your child participate, please send them to CCD at 10 a.m. Students in grades 1-8 will review and say a Rosary for the Parishioners of Queen of Peace that are home bound. 9th grade students will have a lesson on the Creed, students in 10th grade will have a lesson on Scripture, reflecting on the Living Word.
